My Background
Dr. Stevens completed his internship in Clinical Psychology at the University of Rochester Counseling Center in 2010. Dr. Stevens then completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in 2011 at the W.G. Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in Medical Informatics. Dr. Stevens works as a generalist treating a variety of disorders, using multiple techniques to both regulate and reconsolidation emotion.
My Approach & Philosophy
Dr. Stevens believes its important build close relationships with clients where they feel safe to express their feelings. Dr. Stevens research centers around clinic affective neuroscience, the understanding of how maladaptive emotions are developed and expressed in the brain.
